Start With The Body Part That Hurts
Every diagnosis we treat, organized by region — with the specific structures involved, how each is confirmed, and the image-guided options that follow.
01
Shoulder Injuries
Shoulder pain usually comes from the rotator cuff, the bursa above it, the biceps tendon, the labrum, or the joint itself — and the exam plus dynamic ultrasound is what separates them. Most of these problems have a non-surgical path that starts with treating the right structure.
02
Hip & SI Joint Injuries
Hip pain is mislabeled more often than almost any other complaint. Groin pain usually means the joint itself, pain on the side of the hip usually means gluteal tendon and bursa, and the low back can refer into both. Separating them is the whole point of the first visit.
03
Knee & Leg Injuries
The knee takes more load than any other joint and is the most common reason patients ask about regenerative options. Whether it is arthritis, a meniscal problem, or a tendon that never recovered from a ski season, the sequence is the same: confirm the source, treat it precisely, rebuild the muscle that supports the joint.
04
Low Back & Lumbar Spine
Low back pain is the single most common reason patients come to Alpine. The plan starts by identifying which structure is actually generating the pain — disc, nerve root, facet joint, or sacroiliac joint — because each is treated completely differently and imaging alone rarely answers it.
05
Neck & Cervical Spine
Neck pain that radiates into the shoulder blade or down the arm usually means a cervical nerve is irritated. Desk posture, old whiplash, and degenerative change all contribute. Treatment is built on identifying the level involved and calming it with precision rather than treating the whole neck at once.
06
Elbow & Arm Injuries
Elbow problems are overwhelmingly tendon problems, and tendon problems that have lasted months are not inflammatory — the tissue itself has changed. That is why bracing and rest stop working, and why placement of an orthobiologic into the abnormal tissue matters so much.
07
Hand & Wrist Injuries
Hand and wrist structures are small, superficial, and close together — which makes ultrasound guidance the difference between treating the right structure and treating near it. Most of what limits grip and pinch has a precise, non-surgical option.
08
Foot & Ankle Injuries
Foot and ankle problems in active Coloradans are usually tendon and ligament problems that were rested rather than rehabilitated. Ultrasound identifies the abnormal tissue precisely, which is what makes both the treatment and the loading plan specific.
09
Nerve Conditions
Nerve pain has a different character than joint or tendon pain — burning, electric, numb, or pins-and-needles — and it needs to be mapped to a level or a specific entrapment site before treatment. Ultrasound now allows many peripheral nerves to be treated with hydrodissection rather than surgery.
